I am so glad you found me!
I work with teenagers, adults, and couples — people at different stages of life who are seeking change, balance, and new ways to understand themselves and their relationships. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors at your own pace.
I was born and raised in Sweden but lived, studied, and worked in the United States for 16 years. During that time, I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in social work from two different American universities. Living between two cultures has given me a broad perspective on human experience and a deep appreciation for how our stories shape who we are.
While in the U.S., I also trained as a mediator and worked both in mediation practice and as a trainer in mediation techniques. That experience taught me a great deal about communication, empathy, and how to foster understanding between people — skills that are at the core of my therapeutic work.
My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in which I hold a Level 1 certification. I have also trained in psychodynamic therapy, ACT, DBT, and EFT. This blend allows me to tailor my sessions to each person's unique needs — sometimes more structured and goal-oriented, other times more reflective and exploratory.
In addition to my therapy practice, I am a certified instructor in Medical Yoga (Medi Yoga) and Yin Yoga (Level 1). I believe in seeing the whole person — mind and body — and often integrate practices that cultivate calm, mindfulness, and balance.
Whether you are seeking support through a challenging time, personal growth, or a stronger connection in your relationship, I will meet you where you are — with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to your process.
